Early community support and services for CYMH
Dr Jana Davidson, Psychiatrist-In-Chief, BC Children's Hospital, was interviewed on Global News on January 9th, in response to a newly released SFU study. The study tracked homeless youth with mental health issues who had moved to Vancouver's Downtown Eastside from communities across BC and beyond.
The study charts their decline in mental health and suggests that these youth would fare much better if their mental health needs were addressed sooner in the community. You can listen to the interview here
